A slight, complete, utter halt in progress

Tue Dec 8, 2009, 7:23 PM
So, the laptop shat itself again. Every time I turn the little jerk on, it whirs and makes the sounds like it's been turned on. But the screen is pitch black, as if it wasn't even turned on. Soooo, judging by this, and the fact all my drawing software was on the laptop, there shall be a horrible screeching halt in the wonderful progress I had been making. To keep my pageviews hopefully coming in, I'll send in some halfhearted sketches, in hopes of not pissing off my tiny fanbase (fanbase, whut.) In the meanwhile, I'll probably be investing on a new computer altogether, which will probably take a while, being side by side with my plans of moving out soon. So I ask you bear with me, and if you have any idea what is wrong with my laptop, or if there is any extremely cheap, to free way to solve the problem, to please inform me, that I may start spewing my horrible art all over your inboxes once more.

tl;dr: I broke my laptop again.

The Pros and Cons of Winter at the Kirsch abode.

Sat Dec 5, 2009, 7:01 AM
Pros: During the winter, I have jurisdiction over the fireplace. It is my territory, therefore I may burn as I please with it, creating that darling heat I love so dearly. It's pleasant, but I must be liberal with it, as we have a limited amount of firewood, and if I burned as much as I wanted, we'd be out of firewood halfway through winter.

Cons: While living at the complete other side of the motherfucking house is a peaceful and quiet area, it also just so happens to be the area of the house where the heating dare not touch. So, until I get up off my ass and grab the ancient space heater (of which could burn the fucking house down if I leave ANYTHING next to it flammable) the room is ice cold upon entry. And god forbid you wake up on a particularly cold morning. The thought of welding yourself to the warmth of your bed is quite a strong consideration by the time your poor eyes snap open in disbelief at frost actually gathering inside the window.

tl;dr I fucking hate the cold.

Convention Stuff

Thu Nov 19, 2009, 2:50 PM
HURRAY FOR A JOURNAL ENTRY THAT MIGHT BE MORE THAN A SENTENCE.

So I'm gettin' ready for that there convention. Transportation and money has been nothing but a bitch, as my mother is getting ready to move and I'm still looking for child labor. And by that I mean nobody seems interested in hiring my full, round, plush underage ass until I hit the eighteen mark, which is less than a month away. What the shit.

However, here are my two top faves, one of which they really want me there, and the other I haven't established yet.

The first being Build-A-Bear.
The second being the local porn shop.

Also, I'm finally for really absolutely finishing art trades. And I'd like to do summoar. So lemme know if you're up for something.
